It is recommended to install the gate valves with the cut-off function in front of a water meter in water supply and distribution networks to control open or close of the flow; it is also suggested to lock the hand wheel of valve with a chain to prevent the gate valves from theft-open/close.
However, the traditional ways to connect pipelines tend to occupy relatively large spaces and need more flanges. Meanwhile as its cumbersome assembling has made maintenance more complicated, so that it is not easy to change water meter and reinstall the valve. Therefore, YQ has designed the product “YQ” brand Anti-theft Resilient Seated Gate Valve. The product integrates multifunctional feature to distinguish it from the traditional valves. The valve has special design of smooth waterway without recesses inside the valve body, so that no debris will be trapped. It also has anti-theft opening and closing functions.
The valve must use an exclusive hand wheel to open and is multifunctional integrated, with reliable performance, compact and simple structure. Moreover, the product occupies little space and has a longer service life. It also has an easy access to maintenance and is cost efficient. According to the provision of Technical code for Fire Protection Water Supply and Hydrant Systems GB 50974-2014, Item 5.2.4, When the elevated water tank is located on an open-air roof of buildings, any protection measures including lock or valves box shall be taken for the manhole, valves in the inlet and outlet of piping
