  • The design of streamlined Y pattern wide valve body results in high flow capacity(flow across the valve is 25% more than that of drum shaped shell of control valve), low head loss, strong anti-cavitation performance and lower noise level.

  • There is no supporting ring, bearing or rib in the center of seat, full opening without supporting, so water can pass through the seat smoothly. Wide valve body design does not only create low flow resistance but also has an excellent anti-cavitation capacity. Water flow is free from the gravitational force of switch with double control chamber. Thus, such structural design generates the lowest flow resistance coefficient and head loss.

  • Among the same type of valves, there are four pillars of supporting ribs and bearing in the center of the valve seat and a stem going through. As the pictures showing in above, in addition to the hydraulic design of body, water flow has to bypass those barriers and will simultaneously form irregular vortexes, which will greatly increase flow resistance. Obviously the hydraulic control valve with this type of structure will cause higher flow resistance and head loss.

  • The seat of YQ hydraulic control valve has no supporting ring, bearing or rib in the center of seat, full opening without supporting, so such structural design generates the lowest head loss.Hydraulic cylinder piston actuation shall provide smooth and reliable operation. Due to its cushioning action, the noise is very low. It shall overcome the defects of diaphragms, for example, vibration, noise and easy abrasion caused by severe pressure and flow changes. Shown as the below picture .

  • Three positioning guiding gear design which consists of piston, stem, and guiding shaft provides the switch with much more accurate and reliable characteristics. It overcomes vibration defects caused by one point positioning of other valves. The piston is sealed by standard double Y-pattern self-sealing rubber ring for drip-tight sealing. Built-in spring can effectively prevent vibration caused by abrupt pressure flow changes and automatically close the valve at zero flow to prevent flow from reversing. Hydraulic cylinder serves to cushion and reduce water surge or water hammer effect on pipelines.

  • As per Water and Wasterwater Design Regulations for Buildings, strainer shall be installed before control valve to meet drainage requirement. YQ filter hydraulic control valves reasonably put control valve and strainer combined together, reducing face-to-face dimension by 45% compared with general ones. Take DN 100 as an example, the length of YQ filter piston control valve is 415mm, but in general the total length of a control valve plus a strainer would reach 720mm. Obviously, the installation of YQ hydraulic control valve of DN100 can reduce the length by 300mm and weight by 20%. Besides, a joint is omitted to save cost thereby.
